Our intake process involves collecting information that helps understand your world, including mental health history, relationships, occupation, strengths, skills, and how social factors have impacted you. Sessions are interactive; our therapist do a lot of listening and empathizing. We ask a lot of questions intended to help you find insight, present ideas for reflection, and practice with you during your session. In addition, we provide you with a reflection or practice to try between session as well. Progress looks like clients finding the skills, practice, and tools that work best for them and developing new patterns of thought and practice that serve them.
Dealing with life's stressors can become overwhelming and at times debilitating. We understand that ongoing emotional stressors can impact your ability to get through your daily routine and affect your relationships. Therapy can assist you with gaining insight, feeling a sense of internal safety, and developing the tools to cope. We offer teletherapy to clients residing in Maryland and Virginia. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
